Khutka S. Social Stratification and Social Adaptedness of Personality under Conditions of Radical Societal Changes in Ukraine

The dissertation explicates the theoretical and methodological principles of determining the relation between position in social stratification and social adaptedness of personality under conditions of radical social change. The approbated model of measurement of index of personality's social adaptedness is presented. Were revealed - on the basis of cross-sectional and diachronic analysis of representative for the employed urban population longitudinal data - new aspects of relation between stratification as dimension of macro-social structure and social adaptedness of personality as manifestation of micro-social dimension of individual's agency during the early stage of radical societal transformations in Ukraine.
