Osinskaya T. Urogenital trichomoniasis of newborn (epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical features, treatment and prophylaxis)

Object of research - urogenital trichomonas infection. Research objective - to improve efficiency dermatovenereological newborn care with urogenital trichomoniasis by optimizing the diagnosis, prognosis and development of the disease, as well as treatment and prevention organizations. Methods: epidemiological, clinical, bacterioscopic and bacteriological, morphological, statistical. Clinic and epidemiological features of trichomoniasis of newborn girls and pregnant considering of burden influence into gestation period were determined. Possibility of ascending infected of waters and amnion by Trichomonas vaginalis with formation of chorion - amnion and fetus infected were proved. Complex of treatment-and-prophylactic measures of prevention of Trichomonias infection of newborns, based on determined criterions was elaborated. Results have been implemented in the practice of clinical control SE "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, regional dermatovenerologic dispensary of Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil, Zaporizhya, as well as in the educational process of the Department of Dermatovenereology of Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy.
