Essay

Mathematical and program tools for hierarchical decomposition, indexing, classification and analysis of visual patterns are considered. The instruments are used for image searching in databases. The method for patterns retrieval problem using 4-D structural features from cluster analysis is developed.Comparison with other approaches demonstrates image searching accuracy higher in average 15%. Methods for visual pattern classification by keys, as well as by their structural properties are developed.
