In this thesis the regularities of the stress-strain state of rock mass near the exhaust area of lava occurring by application of measures for the protection of a development working from the negative influence of rock pressure in deep water development. On the basis of performance combined visual and instrumental observations of manifestations of rock pressure in the pre-workings of the mine "Shahterskaya-glubokaya", as well as mathematical modeling revealed that in these geological condi-tions decrease the stability of openings caused by intensive and extensive displacement of the roof that allowed the development of a new way of preparatory workings. On the basis of physical and mathematical modeling of deformation processes around a pair of lava and the regularities of changes in roadway stress-strain state of ar-ray depending on the characteristics of the protection of preparatory workings, allowing for the conditions of the mine " Shahterskaya-glubokaya" to determine the rational pa-rameters of a new integrated method to avoid the negative influence of rock pressure in the zone implementation of sewage treatment works. The expected economic effect from implementation of the proposed method of pro-tection and support of development workings at the mine would be 27.3 thousand UAH per 1000m.
