The object of research - development of agricultural science as an integral part of the history of Ukraine. Dissertation is devoted to Academician's Hedroyts activity research in period of formation and development of agricultural science of Ukraine, comprehension of his contribution in becoming and development of agricultural business in Ukraine, based on analysis of existing special literature, documentary published and archival materials. Complex analysis of the research subject contributed to analytical and logical subject-chronological methods. Features subject research covered by comparative-historical retrospective and descriptive methods.
