Slavova N. The Legal Status of credit unions

Research object: complex of relations, related to realization of economic activity credit unions at the financial market. Research purpose: ground of new theoretical positions, conclusions, and development of concrete recommendations on economic and legal status of credit unions on the basis of complex analysis of domestic and foreign legislation, analysis of the systems of theoretical sources, normatively-legal base, organizationally economic mechanism of functioning of credit unions. Research methods: dialectical, formal-logical, historical, comparatively-legal, analytical-synthetic. A theoretical and practical value consists in possibility of the use of conclusions and suggestions of dissertation work in the process of law activity with the purpose of perfection of organizational, economic, legal component mechanisms of activity of credit unions. Job performances are inculcated in practical activity: Credit union of "Dobrodіya" in relation to work of management organs; Credit union of "Dobrobud" at the grant of recommendations on forming of reserve for reimbursement of possible losses; in an educational process at teaching of the special course "Legal position of credit unions" in DonNU MON Ukraine. Scientific novelty: complex research of economic-legal status of credit unions; a legal concept "Credit union is specified"; found out the features of activity of credit unions as financial institutions; classification of credit unions is carried out and the order of their creation and registration is specified. The necessity of creation of the credit-co-operative system, which is making economic system which is formed under act of complex of factors, is proved, one of which is specialization (grant of services the members), which needs improvement of legislation, directed on the increase of possibilities of credit unions on expansion of sphere of maintenance of the members. It is suggested to extend property right and duties for providing of financial firmness of credit unions; legal approaches are developed on reorganization and liquidation of credit unions. Sphere of the use: subjects of initiation of bill; judicial administrations; the higher educational institutions.
