Essay

The dissertation sets out to elaborate recommendations on optimal use of aerial and space survey data for cartographic base of cadastre. The author shaped and researched main criteria for evaluating aerial and space images. Taking into consideration the dissertation presents the recommendations on the scales of aerial survey for mapping. The research also provides well grounded guidelines on the use of satellite survey systems for generating various types of cadastral maps. The elaborated 16-parameter mathematic model for evaluating the radiometry of the survey system allows estimating quantitatively the existing aerial and spacing survey systems and provides the user with a possibility to choose the optimal one. The technique of "pseudo colour" effect was offered to distinguish more clearly some types of objects by means of contrasting the object maximally with the surrounding surface. It was proved that the error of DTM influences the calculation of the parcel's area based on aerial survey data, whereas it almost does not interfere in the calculation based on space survey data.
