In dissertation the legal nature insurance the sphere of investment activity as public phenomenon is reserched. On the basis of synthesis of these categories definition of insurance is formulated in the sphere of investment activity. Description of types of insurance and investments is given, investment operations and investment activity are differentiated. The features of state administration and adjusting of insurance are determined in the sphere of investment activity and financial control after the process of its realization. The place and legal nature of insurance interest and investment risk in financial legal relationships are considered.
