This thesis is concerned with the theoretical generalization and new solution of the scientific task relating to the improvement of efficiency of treatment and prevention of spreading of the papillomavirus genital infection by using rational approaches to diagnostics and improvement of the complex therapy with regard to etiology, pathogenesis and clinical course.Interrelation between PVGI course forms and genital-type human papillomavirus (HPV) infection of various oncogenic risk degrees has been established. For the clinical course form, infection with low oncogenic risk HPV was typical, and for latent and sublicnical courses, infection with high or medium high oncogenic risk HPV.A pathogenetically substantiated individualized method of antiviral and immunocorrecting treatment of PVGI has been developed. For the clinical infection form, this method provides for systemic administration of the antiviral product Panavir with the simultaneous smearing of pointed condylomas with Panavir (gel) and application of Podofilotoxin on condylomas; and for the subclinical and latent forms, only systemic administration of Panavir according to the schedule. The use of the developed PVGI treatment regimen contributes to the normalization of affected immune and cytokine status of the body, prevents progressing of the infection clinical implications and possibility of malignant transformation, and allows to achieve clinical and etiological recovery of patients.
