Ennan R. Legal regulation of intellectual property relations in the European Union.

The dissertation covers a comprehensive analysis of legal regulation of intellectual property relations in the European Union. In the dissertation was researched the process of formation and development of legal protection on the results of intellectual property activity in EU, was found out the preconditions and methods of legal regulation of intellectual property relations in EU law, was defined the content, peculiarities, essence of EU intellectual property law and it’s place in EU law system. There were examined the features and legal nature of intellectual property objects’ in EU, were determined principles of EU intellectual property law, were considered the main institutions of intellectual property law which have been established in the process of harmonization and unification of EU legislation: copyrights and related rights, industrial property law, as well as specifics in ensuring of observance of intellectual property rights in EU which were also elucidated. During research the basic normative legal acts of EU in the sphere of intellectual property (sources of EU intellectual property law) were analyzed: primary legislation (constituent agreements), acts of secondary legislation of EU (regulations, directives and other), decisions of the Court of EU, and ways of further development on legal regulation of intellectual property relations in EU.
