Dissertation is devoted to the ecological and hygienic estimation level of pollution by cadmium and lead soil samples taken from various functional zones of industrial centers in Dnepropetrovsk region and scientific substantiation of regional hygienic standard of cadmium in the soil. Minimum threshold concentration in the soil-climatic conditions, defined by the general sanitary indicator of harm, scientifically prove hygienic standard of cadmium in the soil at the level 1,5 mg/kg. Basic hygienic actions of prevention negative consequences of technogenic pollution of soil by cadmium and lead have been developed.
