Essay

This scientific work is devoted to the improvement of the effectiveness of the diagnosis and treatment of cervical pathology in women of reproductive age with sexually transmitted viral infections. Characteristics of the clinical condition and colposcopic examination in the setting of the viral genital infection have been studied, and the spectrum of the sexually transmitted infections in women with papillomavirus infection has been determined. Viral burden of papillomavirus infection has been determined and its influence on development of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia has been proven. Pathological changes in the immune system of the women with cervical pathology have been elucidated. Association between the elevation of the tumor markers Ki-67, p63, p16, and INK4a and progression of the epithelial transformation in women with highly oncogenic types of the papillomavirus and genital herpes virus has been determined. Pathomorphological changes of the cellular elements have been evaluated in the presence of the infection and in the process of treatment. A new comprehensive method of treatment of the cervical disease in the setting of the genital viral infection has been developed. This therapy has been proven to eliminate imbalance of the systemic and local cervical immunity, restore processes of the normoplasia of the cervical epithelium, insure elimination of the viruses from the exo- and endocervix, which in turn decreases incidence of recurrence of the cervical neoplastic processes by 8.79 times.
