The Thesis is devoted to the civil service and implementation of European experience of the legal regulation of the civil service in the legislation of Ukraine. The core of the thesis is the analysis of the legislation of certain European countries, in particular, France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, etc., that allows to unify the European experience of the legal regulation of hiring to the civil service, holding competition procedures, realization of the official career, grounds and rules for termination of the civil service.
