MELENCHUK O. Serhiy Yefremov's Shevchenko studies discourse in the context of the Ukrainian literature studies.

Objekt: Yefremov's monographs, articles, essays, reviews dedicated to the creative life of Taras Shevchenko. Aim: the systematical analysis of Shevchenko study works by S.Yefremov and determining their place and role in the development of the Ukrainian Shevchenko study. Methods: historical-comparative, historical-biographical, descriptive, bibliographical. Scientific novelty: for the first time in Ukrainian literature studies оn the basis of the collected and analyzed materials there was determined the place and the role of Yefremov's shevchenkiana in the development of Shevchenko study and in a literature study as a whole. Approved in 7 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
