Tomilenko L. The special terminology in modern explanatory lexicography of the Ukrainian language (lexico-semantic and word-formative aspects)

Object: special terminology in the Ukrainian language dictionaries of 11 and 20 volumes. Goal: carry out a comprehensive linguistic analysis of special lexis contained in the Ukrainian language dictionaries of 11 and 20 volumes. Methods: descriptive, quantitative-statistical, comparative; word-formation and component-based analysis. Scientific novelty: it is the first ever extensive research to fully analyse the presentation of special lexis in the Ukrainian language dictionaries of 11 and 20 volumes. Practical value: it can be used for the purposes of the national dictionary database of Ukraine, linguistic research systems, and for lectures on terminology, word formation and semantics.
