Kozulya S. Hygienic substantiation of optimization unspecific prophylaxis of nosocomial infections with the airborne mechanism of transmission.

Object. The optimization of nonspecific prophylaxisof nosocomial infection by means of essential oils. Aim. The hygienic substantiation of the optimization of nonspecific prophylaxis of nosocomial infection with aerogenic mechanism of transmission by means of addition of essential oils' composition to standard complex of prophylactic measures. Methods. Hygienic, epidemiological, microbiological, physiological and psychophysiological, statistical. Theoretical and practical results. In the issue of executed work, the effectiveness of essential oils' composition as the mean for sanitization of air in premises was proved. The methodology of "Poliol" usage for prophylaxis nosocomial infection, stimulation of adaptive processes and increase of mental capacity for work of persons was proposed. The candidate got 2 patents: № 18440 "Method of decreasing microbal contamination of enclosed space air" and № 20136 "Method of prophylaxis of increased level of reactive anxiety", also one inventors certificate: № 24838 "Computer program "MedTime". Getting data are used in pedagogic process of Public institution "Crimean State Medical University named after S.I. Georgievsky", National Medical University named after O.О. Bogomoletc, and National Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov of Vinnitca, National Medical University of Kharkov and Ukrainian Medical stomatological academy of Poltava. Novelty. When in use the antibacterial and fungicidal activity of essential oils' composition "Poliol" and composition's components in vitro were studied comprehensively. The intensity of sanitized effect of essential oils' composition "Poliol" in air environment of inhabitable, educational and hospital premises was researched. By way of retrospective analysis, the number of unrecorded nosocomial infection among patients with bacterial complication of acute respiratory viral infection in infectious department was estimated. With a glance expressed antimicrobial effect of essential oils' composition, high effectiveness of application of essential oils' composition "Poliol" as means of prophylaxis bacterial complication of acute respiratory viral infection was showed. For the first time the favorable influence of essential oils' composition on capacity for work and emotional status of persons was displayed.
