Rys U. The Category of Intensity in Modern Polish: A cognitive-semantic approach

Object: the intensive aspect of the semantics of verbs and adjectives in modern Polish. Objective: а comprehensive description of the cognitive processes that cause the dynamic of action, state and characteristic with semantics of intensity. Methods: general scientific analytical and descriptive, structural and semantic analysis, the method of component analysis. Scientific novelty: determined that the category of intensity was marked out, and a comprehensive analysis of this category with the cognitive-semantic approach was made for the first time in Ukrainian linguistic Polish studies. The practical value: the use of courses in modern Polish, general linguistics, Slavonic lexicography.
