The work makes an attempt to reveal the aesthetic content of national identity of Ulas Samchuk's prose. The author's literary works are viewed from the standpoint of the character's national identity's mode. The character's dominants directed to the comprehension of the people's national being are clarified. The work delineates the mode of the character's national identity and reveals the author's stylistic originality.
