The dissertation is devoted to studying the problem of impact of gender standards on the formation of the negative features of self-concept in adolescence. In the empirical study the notion of "gender standard" is clarified, here are described negative features of self-conception, which manifest themselves in adolescence as controversial and even conflicting knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, capable in some circumstances lead to violations of its integrity and stability.
