The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the gender formation process in senior pre-school pupils within the system of the child-parent relations. A theoretical analysis of studying the psychological gender of pre-school children in psychological and pedagogical literature is introduced. In the research the content of such terms as "psychological gender" and "child-parent relations" is clarified. The above mentioned terms are structurally presented by emotional, cognitive and functional components. The thesis is determined the interconnection between the levels of the indication of the psychological gender in senior pre-school children and child-parent relations within their families. As a result of revealing the link between the levels of indication of the psychological gender in senior pre-school pupils and child-parent relations certain subgroups of respondents are outlined. In accordance with their quality characteristics there is composed a program of implementation into practice at pre-school education institutions the system of the effective means which impact the process of psychological gender development at senior pre-school age while interacting with adults. Certain quantitative and qualitative results of the experimental work prove the effectiveness of the proposed program and ground the appropriateness of its usage in the educational process at pre-school institutions and also during the training of the students by the specializations "Pre-School Education", "Practical Psychology", Social Pedagogics".
