Thesis is devoted to complex research of restrictions of fundamental rights and freedoms under the legislation of Ukraine. The developed characteristic of institute of restriction of fundamental rights and freedom, including its subject, system, sources and a place in the general system of a constitutional law of Ukraine is submitted. Author's definition of restriction of fundamental rights and personal freedoms is formulated, the basic attributes of restriction of fundamental rights and personal freedoms, due to what it differentiated from adjoining concepts are revealed. The system of principles of restriction of fundamental rights and personal freedoms under the current legislation of Ukraine is opened.
