Object - educational process at secondary school; the aim - to study and generalize the theory, to analyse and systematize the experience of usage of multimedia tutorials at Ukrainian secondary school in the second half of the XX century for the further improvement and modernization of educational process; methods - historical-pedagogical, general scientific, comparative; novelty - holistic historical and pedagogical analysis of development of multimedia tutorials at secondary school at the appointed chronological limits was carried out for the first time; stages of development of ideas of usage of multimedia tutorials at secondary school in the second half of the XX century were grounded; the experience of usage of multimedia tutorials at school practice was generalized; perspectives of further development of multimedia tutorials at secondary school were identified; results - theoretical ideas and factual material were realized in development of special course "Development of theory and practice of usage of multimedia tutorials" for students of pedagogical higher educational establishments of III-IV levels of accreditation; field - pedagogy
