Volovik O. Methodological principles of organization and realization of practicum on solving of mathematical problems in classical universities.

In the dissertation competence-oriented methodical system of organization and teaching a course of practicum on solving of mathematical problems in classical universities has been grounded scientifically and developed. The functions of practicum on solving of mathematical problems in the mathematical preparation of students have been defined (integrative, adaptive, corrective, reflective and professional propedeutics). The notion of competence of students in elementary mathematics has been put into practice, the contents and the structure of this competence explained, criteria and indicators of its formation for students of classical mathematics faculties of universities developed. The methodology of determining requirements level for results of learning practicum on solving of mathematical problems developed; structuring of content; selection and application of the methods and organizational forms of training in course of practicum on solving of mathematical problems. Effectiveness of the proposed system is confirmed experimentally.
