Zhyznomirska O. Psychological Peculiarities of Self-affirmation of Younger and Older Teenagers

Тheoretical analysis of scientific approaches to study of the phenomenon in Ukrainian and foreign psychology is made; content and essence of this phenomenon in younger and older teenage pupils are defined. Forms and means of self-affirmation, age-related dynamics and gender differences of this personality formation in the maturing period are experimentally researched. Psychological model of forms and means of younger and older teenagers' self-affirmation is developed; criteria and levels of this phenomenon are defined. In the process of experiment the appropriateness and effectiveness of psychological program implementation and training of optimization process of younger and older teenagers' self-affirmation are proved.
