Strutynska O. Methods of Teaching Information Systems and Technology to the Future Teachers of Economics

The dissertation presents methods of teaching information systems and technologies to future teachers of economics using educational information environment that includes the distance course 'Information systems and technology in the economy' in distance learning system Moodle and pedagogical software program 'Financial analysis and optimization' that has been designed by the author of the dissertation. The dissertation determines the structure and content of the course 'Information systems and technology in the economy' as an educative discipline for pedagogical university students majoring in economics. It has been established that the use of the developed technique promotes activation of teaching and learning of future teachers of economics, formation of skills of individual independent activity, development of future teachers' competencies in information systems and technologies in the economy, the motivation for continuous learning of information systems and technologies, and willingness to use them in their future careers. The dissertation adduces the results of pedagogical experiment, which confirm the effectiveness of the presented methods.
