Krasylyuk L. Diagnostics, medical management with prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia and its asossiation with prostate cancer.

The thesis is devoted to substantiation of principle strategy in treatment of prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia on the basis of appropriateness of its clinical course and possibilities of preventing influence on its development on the phy-toestrogen EKSO example, which is modeled in the experiment.The own model of prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia is developed, with which the dysplastic changes of the prostatic epithelium are revealed, that mor-phologically and cytologically correspond to PIN in patients suffering from BPH and prostate cancer. The preneoplastic changes are accompanied by meta-bolic disorganization, which manifests itself in strengthening of lipoperoxida-tion processes. The phytoestrogen EKSO revealed a protective action on the experimental PIN development, its direct and indirect antioxidant action is es-tablished.Examination of patients suffering from BPH and prostate cancer revealed the PIN connection with mainly prostate cancer (found in 70% of patients), es-pecially PIN HG (found in 54% of patients). The obtained data testify to PIN preneoplastic character and to a possibility of PIN HG usage as the prostate cancer marker.It is developed the theoretical basis for further clinical researches and PIN HG treatment in patients.
