Rudyuk T. Verbalization of the concepts MAN and WOMAN in Ukrainian phraseology

In the thesis for the first time in Ukrainian phraseology a complex analysis of ways and means of verbalization of the concepts MAN and WOMAN has been carried out. The systemic principle in researching the gender marked phraseological units and the content of the categorical lingual -stylistic notions "concept", "gender" in socio-linguistics were defined, as well as the world-mapping in the lingual and conceptual aspects. In the work the role of the gender component in the semantic structure of phraseological units has been elucidated and the national and cultural specificity of the semantics of phraseological units with a gender component has been revealed.
