Grechanyk I. Science fiction prose of O. Berdnyk: peculiarities of time-and-space conceptions.

The object is Oles Berdnyk's science fiction prose. The aim is to explore the time-and-space conceptions Oles Berdnyk's science fiction prose in the context of the second half of the XXth century. The methods are hermeneutic, comparative, cultural and historical, systematic and holistic analysis. According to such time-and-space construction with a character in the center, the dualistic system of chronotopic relations is determined. The system consists of such elements as subjective-psychological time-and-space and objective-attributive time-and-space of a character. In Oles Berdnyk's science fiction prose the primary conflict between fiction and non-fiction reality arises in this kind of chronotope and becomes one of the main elements in the science fiction poetry. Objective-attributive time-and-space includes equipollent actualization of fiction and non-fiction reality in the prose of Oles Berdnyk and represents the system of outside images, imprints of which model the subjective-psychological time-and-space of a character.
