The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical research of a new source of high-power electromagnetic radiation in the millimeter-submillimeter wavelength range - the multiharmonic plasma-beam superheterodyne FEL. The followings methods was used: the average characteristics, the method of slowly varying amplitudes, standard numerical-analytical methods. Developed approximate nonlinear theory may be the basis for calculations on the creation of powerful sources of electromagnetic radiation, and allows us to offer new versions of FEL. Scope: physics of devices, elements and systems in the direction of relativistic electronics.
