Essay

The object of research is the functioning process of the biotechnical system "shooter - fire-arm"; the purpose of research is adequacy increasing of the choice of short fire-arms to psycho-physiological and anthropometric characteristics of the shooter by the creation of biotechnical diagnostic system for determining of anthropometric-psycho-physiological functional compatibility of human and handguns (APFC); methods of research: theoretical - methods of anthropometric and psycho-physiological parameters analisis, mathematical modeling and mathematical statistics, experimental - methods of peer review, methods of information-measuring systems construction, computer processing; theoretical results: development of method of constructing of diagnostic system for APFC determining, the development of evaluation criterion of APFC, development of a method for APFC determining, the development of evaluation criteria that estimate the adequacy of chosen fire-arm, the practical results: diagnostic system for APFC determining was created, a modified gun design was suggested, modified respectively to the problem of determining of compatibility between human and fire-arms, a test software package to determine the personality type after Eysenck was developed, which in addition to psychological techniques, include psycho-physiological tests to calculate the mobility and strength of nervous processes, that ensures the completeness of personality type identification. Scientific novelty of the results: firstly the evaluation criterion of APFC was developed, firstly the method of functional organization of human and firearms anthropometric-psycho-physiological compatibility diagnosing systems was proposed, firstly the statistical method of APFC determining was developed, which is based on the classification of anthropometric-psycho-physiological parameters of person and the corresponding guns classification that uses a mathematical model of conversion the database into the knowledge base. The level of implementation - research results are introduced in the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Vinnitsa region and in the educational process of Vinnytsya National Technical University. Scope of use - special training of police officers, state security, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, preparing sportsmen in shooting.
