Dissertation is devoted the study of features of damages which are caused shots from the pneumatic gas balloon pistol MR - 651K with a short barrel and as a rifle and to perfection forensic examination of damages on the body of man. Certain fre-quency, character and most typical areas of localization of bullet damages is studied, and also investigational morphological permeability for bullets which are produced from a pneumatic gas balloon weapon. It is well-proven that the depth of bullet chan-nel at bullet damages depends on modifications of weapon, determined the type of bullet and brake effect of materials which clothes are made from, and also it is well-proven that regardless of modification of gas balloon weapon, diminishing of perme-ability of bullets takes place with growth of index a number shot. Grounded methods of forensic distance-finding shot after an index depths of bullet channel are at the hit of bullet on the areas of body, that uncovered clothes and taking into account perme-ability of material of clothes, application of which allows to provide the account of terms of origin of damages. Application of algorithm is based on the account of co-ordinates of damage and depth of bullet channel, modification and mode of exploita-tion of weapon, and also as a bullet and presence of obstacles for it. Nomogram and polynomial models is developed make primary scientific - methodological support to justify algorithm of forensic examination.
