Lysenko L. Local government as a factor of rural areas development

Object of research: processes of realization of local self-government on a rural locality. Purpose: ground and development of measures, directed on providing of growth of role of local self-government in development of rural territories. Methods: abstractly-logical; monographic; analysis of the systems; sociological; comparative; graphic. Results: on the basis of research of local self-government as factor of development of rural territories a partnership model of management of socio-economic development of rural territories is grounded. Novelty: maintenance of category "rural area" is specified; interdependence between demographic factors on a rural locality and state of local self-government is grounded; social connection between the elements of the system of self-government in the form of effect of multiplication is certain. It is inculcated in activity of bodies of local self-government of the Kharkiv and Poltava regions. Areas of use: public administration, local self-government, training and retraining of civil servants and public servants of local self-government.
