The thesis is dedicated to the problem of improvement the methodological approaches to the selection of family planning methods taking into consideration the state of sexual health of women of reproductive age. For the first time the rate and spectrum of sexual dysfunctions observed in women of reproductive age was estab-lished. It was also found that against the background of gynecological disorders the majority of women (94.9%) suffer from sexual dysfunctions. Discovered changes in sexual and gynecological health in examined women contributed to the development of cou-ple's sexual inadequacy that tells us about the necessity of evaluation of sexual health state while gynecological ex-amination and highlights the tight connection between sexual and gynecological health.
