Object - literary-critical activity of M.M. Strahov, his ideological and aesthetic positions and their reflection in his works devoted to O.S. Pushkin, I.S. Turgenev and L.M. Tolstoy; subject - peculiarities of critical views of M.M. Strahov and his epistolary heritage in the context of Russian criticism 1860-1890's; aim - is to make a complete fundamental analysis of the literary heritage of M.M.
