Essay

In the thesis the description of a hydrological and hydrochemical regime of coastal waters of Zmeiny Island has been made. The specific structure of macrozoobenthos, dynamics of distribution and number of the main objects in benthos have been presented. In water area of Zmeiny Island 50 species of fishes that belong to 12 orders, 30 families and 41 geneses have been revealed. The age and sexual structures of three mass species of fishes in water area of island - galea, scorpion fish and round goby - have been investigated. Trophic spectrum of three mass species has been presented. Key words: the Black Sea, Zmeiny Island, ichthyofauna, benthic fish.
