Essay

Dissertation work is aimed at a study of pathogenesis development in periodontium tissues at long-term proton pump inhibitor omeprazole administration and the basis of experimental correction of these changes by multiprobiotic of last generation "Symbiter". It is proved that the leading role in the development of pathological changes in periodontium tissues at the long-term omeprazole-induced hypoacidity play: disbalance of NO-ergic system, activation of oxidative stress, development of endogenic intoxication, decompensation of proteinase-inhibitor potential, increase collagenolytic activity, activation of depolymerization of collagen fibers, proteoglycans and glycoproteids.
