Essay

The dissertation deals with the ways of the formation of language competence of the secondary school pupils in the process of learning syntax. Different linguistic sources with approaches to learning syntax in the secondary school are analyzed. The necessity of learning syntax on the base of competence, cognitive and communicative approaches is motivated. The curriculum of experimental learning is created and the system of analytical, reproductive, creative and constructive exercises is characterized. Proposed methods based on the text help to form language and communicative knowledge, skills and speech habits of the pupils.
