Essay

The thesis deals with role of security factor in shaping regional system of international relations in the Persian Gulf. The author determines in this study structure, environment, actors, main periods and features of this regional system of relations. The study proved the dependence between the evolution of international relations in Persian Gulf and bifurcation points or critical moments in the development of regional relations - Islamic Revolution in Iran, Kuwait crisis 1991, Iraq War 2003. In accordance with this bifurcation points author highlights the main periods of formation system of international relations in the region and carefully examines characteristics of each period.
