The dissertation investigates the conceptual foundations of factors of emergence and peculiarities of manifestation of social and political conflicts in Ukrainian of the transformation period. Theoretical and methodological foundations, substantial correlation for basic notions: social conflict, social and political conflict. The group of indicators that allow to record the factors of emergence and peculiarities of dynamics of socio-political conflicts. Structural and dynamic characteristics, subjective and objective elements of this phenomenon, factors that determine their development in the conditions of transformation change.
