Krivak A. Sectoral Priorities in Forming Competitiveness of the National Economy under Globalization

The thesis paper explores theoretical and methodological questions of the national economic competitiveness in the context of the definition and implementation of sectoral priorities. The paper also studied evolution of views on the sectoral structure of the economy and its development priorities, sectoral priorities and its role in shaping the national economic competitiveness. Methodology of the sectoral structure of the national economy and the classification of sectors are improved. This helps to determine the mechanism of their interaction. The system of opportunities and threats of globalization is determined in their influence on development of economies in all countries of the world, including such a tough question as the definition and implementation of sectoral priorities as well. Criteria and indications referring to sector (sectors) to the priority of economy are proved.
