Essay

The purpose of study was to establish clinical and dynamic features of hyperkinetic disorders at children and violations of school adaptation. Studied the prevalence of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorders, comorbid mental disorders at students in secondary and special school for children with school adjustment without mental retardation, their connection with violations of adaptive behavior and academic achievement. Explored relation of aggressive behavior and violence in schools with mental disorders, especially of experience of feelings of anger and an opportunity of its overcoming are compared to hyperkinetic disorder. Based on these results we have developed and included in "The clinical protocol to help children and adolescents with hyperkinetic disorder" (decree of Ministry of Health of Ukraine № 108 from 15.02.2010) recommendations to provide psychosocial assistance to children with hyperkinetic disorders and ensure their inclusion in secondary school.
