The thesis presents a complex ecological and geographical research of forest resources of Upper Dniester Beskids. Also were studied out: the reasons of the occurrence of adverse physical and geographical processes, structure of forest fund, was evaluated the state of it’s usage. In the research was grounded the system of measures aimed at the reconstruction of secondary forests and optimisation of their exploitation on the basis close-to-nature forestry and ecologically-geographical approach.
