Main trends and approaches of the information and communication technology application in engineering education at agrarian universities have been defined. Didactic opportunities of information technology were studied. Pedagogical conditions which should be met in order to assure successful engineering education have been identified and theoretically based. Step-by-step engineering teaching methods at agrarian universities based on the information technology application were developed and experimentally checked.
