Dzera Y. State as the participant in civil-law relationship

The thesis addresses the major issues related to the concept and legal nature of the state in its capacity as a party to relationships governed by civil law, its position amongst other parties in such relationships, and describes peculiarities of the state's involvement in relationships governed by civil law, such as ownership, IP, donations, inheritance, and corporate relationships. The author offers a comprehensive legal analysis of the forms in which the state may participate in relationships governed by civil law either directly through bodies of government or indirectly through government agencies, state-owned unitary enterprises and joint stock corporations.
