Dissertation is devoted the analysis of essence and system of administrative-legal protection of atmospheric air. The features of atmospheric air are found out as an object of legal protection, maintenance is analyzed and the constituents of term "legal safeguard of atmospheric air" are selected, the concept of its is characterized administrative-legal protection. The modern consisting and perspectives of development of the system of the administrative-legal adjusting of protection of atmospheric air of Ukraine were certain. The system and legal status of subjects, involved in his administrative-legal protection is described, kinds and forms of state control are analyzed in the noted sphere. Suggestions in relation to improvement of domestic legislation about administrative misconducts in industry of protection of atmospheric air and practice of its realization are formulated.
