The dissertation is an attempt to explore the specificity of poetics of absurd in M.Kulish's works, it's similarity to expressionism, existentialism, Theater of the Ab-surd esthetics (A.Adamov, S.Beckett, E. Ionesko, H.Pinter, N.F.Simpson). It also observes dialogical links of M.Kulish's plays with works of Moliere, M. Gogol, M.Chvylyovy, M.Bulhakov, expressionism esthetics of Les' Kurbas.
