In dissertation investigational problem of development of musical thought of students of the initial specialized artistic educational establishments (musical separations). The psychological features of students of mid childhood are considered from position of establishment of fact of prevailing of emotional sphere of child above rationally logical, at what the necessity of gradual achievement of proportion is underlined these two beginnings. Certainly criteria of musical thought and the levels of his developed are set; it is experimentally tested system of stage-by-stage introduction in the process of studies of students of initial musical educational establishments of method of development of musical thought.
