Essay

In this thesis we have researched detailed properties of flexible gimbals in gyroscope. We have constructed mathematical model for stiffness, durability and static balance for flexible gimbals. Also we have determined analytical equations for the optimal parameters of gyroscope, which besides the minimal radial stiffness, related to the working axes, give linear equistiffness in gimbals, and also given overload capacity. Applying these results, allowed us to improve design properties of DTG, and also increase their precision.
