The features of author's specificity have been defined, the ways of visualization of ideological-aesthetic position that is perfomed in the format of self-realization though the genre dimensions in the writer's autobiographical works have been drawn. A lot of attention is paid to the presentation of conception of the hero in the dilogy as the projection of the authors subjectivity. The specificity of poetical system of autobiographical stories by Mykhailo Stel'makh has been characterized through the way of analysis of artificial modifications of chronotop continuum in the dilogy, clarification of intertextual peculiarities of prototextual and metatextual works by the writer, explication of semantic filling of such terms as author, narrator, narrative discourse.
