Research object: processes of corporative management of machine-building enterprises; the purpose of the work: development of theoretical principles and development of guidance on assessing and improving of the quality of corporate governance of machine-building enterprises; research methods and instruments: historical, inductive and deductive, formalization, method of multivariable factor analysis, - method of canonical analysis, regression analysis, method of expert evaluations; theoretical and practical results: methodical evaluation of information transparency of corporate governance, which is formed on the basis of using of the expert method, and feature of which is determining the level of transparency by calculating the relevant index for kinds of "essential" information: financial, about the ownership structure, about the management structure; methodological approach to the determination possibility of an appearance of a corporate conflict, the difference of which consists in the calculation of this index by groups of indicators that characterize the protection of shareholder rights, their participation in governance and compliance of regulations of corporate management; selection procedure for supervisory board members and the formation of its structure based on the developed methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness of the supervisory board, which differs from the existing criteria by the use of experience criteria, professional knowledge, quality of accomplishment of authority by members of the supervisory board and assessment of their impact on enterprise performance; technology of analysis of corporate governance quality, which feature is to implement the provisions of statement: the quality of corporate governance is a complete, stable expression of state of corporate governance characteristics of the enterprise in dynamics.
